According to the Mesoamerican calendar, December 21, 2012 marks the end of the world as a result of Earth’s interaction with a black hole at the center of the galaxy. At midnight on the 20th, Alex Melamid will concentrate all of his artistic power using his own body of work to stop imminent world demise.
